No oil cooler on this one and yes after some more research it is in fact an oil pressure relief valve, I guess I can go ahead and use my new f-body pan without re-using the valve, I just hope I don't run into over pressure issues, I was also under the impression that only AFM or DOD engines had this feature, could it be that same era non AFM engines use the same oil pump as AFM engines?
