Trying to track down a hydroboost brake pedal

I've been to all my local yards, I've been on craigslist almost daily. Does anyone know where I can buy a reproduction hydroboost pedal? For a 1987 V20. My vacuum booster is out so I want to do the swap now that I have an excuse to do so. I've been searching parts catalogs online for hours but can't find a part number either. Can anyone point me in the right direction? It would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks!

Some pedals were drilled for both - mine was and I added a stud in the hydroboost hole. Might be worth a re check.

Re: Trying to track down a hydroboost brake pedal

I'm pretty sure I have a complete pedal bucket assembly for a hydroboost. Probably have hyrdroboost unit and master if you are interested. Let me know, as I would not be able to get to them until Wednesday night or Thursday.

Re: Trying to track down a hydroboost brake pedal

Not to hi-jack the thread, but I was wondering if the pedal and mounting bracket are hydroboost specific or is just the pedal assembly itself?

Depending on the type of transmission (automatic/manual), the bracket assembly used with hydroboost (JB8) brakes is the same as used with non-hydroboost systems (JB1, JB3, JB5, JB6, JB7).

The part number for all pedal brackets (hydro or non-hydro) used with a M/T is 15628778. Pedal bracket part number for all A/T applications is 15628779.

The above is true for 1985-1991 MY's and C/K/R/V models - but does not apply to trucks equipped with diesel engines.

Re: Trying to track down a hydroboost brake pedal

The diesel 4x4 Suburban 3/4 up to -91 have JD7 brake system. The pedal on my pictures matching JD7.
Do you mean that gas trucks paddles have both holes for the vacuum/ hydro boost rod?

Thank you for clearing that up.
