In most states a private citizen cannot own an armored truck. But your business can.

Re: A Zombieland Transport on CL

That's cool! But it's no RV. It could be, but right now it's an armored car. It's not outfitted as what I consider an RV (motor home). I don't know any other type of recreation it would be good for. Sorry for being technical, but sellers get on my nerves like that. The price is insane for a vehicle with such limited usefulness.

Listed as gas, but picture shows 8.2 Detroit 4 cycle diesel, plus 1 pic shows the base circle timing setting.

The down below it mentions an International .

Dan, I never even looked that far. How about that? It's a '77 International GMC with a Gas 8.2 Detroit Diesel. You know about these trucks more than me, so I want to ask, would this be a super rare model? heh heh heh

$24K seems really steep when it's got a hole in the windshield and who knows what other compromised panels.

Ya think? I'll have to disagree. That hole in the windshield gives it true character for what it is. No doubt, this is the real deal! Prolly be half as much without it

I know of at least 5 50BMG's I could borrow. How much value do you think I could add to one at $5 a round?

Re: A Zombieland Transport on CL

$5? Your getting a good deal. I always thought the best part about buying a near $10k gun was paying $8 per shot.

Two of my friends reload for the 50's. It helps keep costs down.

You can get into one for a lot less than $10K too.

Artistically 'applied' I'd say quite a bit!

Honestly my only experience with them was when they started pushing the re-vamped Barrett "complex". New that thing was bringing 8-10k.

Can you find them under 5k yet? I just can't justify the cost when I can build 300-based wildcats off of Stevens/Savage and Rem bases and have an outfitted 600yard'er for 1500 or under.

Still...I'd own one if it popped up for the right price.

Re: A Zombieland Transport on CL

There's several frame based guns that consist of a bolt, barrel, receiver, and chassis. I think they can be had for less that $3K.

I'll be going 30ish cal for my longer range shooting. I have no desire to spend so much money on hitting steel or punching paper.
