Leaf spring bushings

Good morning to all
I am doing a body swap (70 C20 - 72 K10), this is just a frame & running gear down project.
I have been collecting parts for the last 4 years & I now have all I will ever need &then some.
I am currently rebuilding the frame & suspension. After all of my research on here (3 years worth), I believe I missed some vital information I needed or just flat missed.
My first question is this: Is there an outer sleeve on the front & rear shackle bushings?
Because I thought I had seen 1 in the front frame shackle hole, & tried to remove it with no success, but after reviewing the LMC diagram it appears that both the front & rear shackle bushing are 3 piece units. Is this correct?
Question number2: What is the best way to repair the damage that I have done to the cast iron bushing mount (it is all internal)?

Many thanks to any & all replies

Andy

Remarks such as YOU ROCK & YOUR THE BEST are not nearly enough to describe the talent displayed on here. Thanks again

Re: Leaf spring bushings

OK, so I guess that I am the only person to ever screw this up. My cure, seeing as how it is not a structional problem, I have melted some 50/50 solder into the groove and brought it back to round. This should keep, I hope, the new bushings from being torn up.

Thanks for looking

Andy
