Acc
I have searched all over with no luck. I just installed a stereo in my 70, only problem is my radio connection at the fuseblock is constant hot even in the off positon. In the off position it is a bit dimmer than in the on and acc position. Everything works fine and I dont have any battery drain issues, even replaced the ignition switch. I noticed there are 2 brown wires on the ignition switch for the accessory. One wire has a white stripe which is for the external regulator. I did away with the external regulator, could this be a reason the acc is a constant hot even in the off position? Should I cut this wire?

Re: Acc
Could the ignition switch be bad? Seems to me if it is an accessory wire from the switch it should have no power when turned to the off position.

Re: Acc
I don't think so maybe the fuseblock has had some modification. I rewired mine so mine works as it should. Use a cheap circuit light to see what happens when you turn on and off the ignition. The ACC should work though through the key if the wire is coming out of the back of the switch. I'll try to look at mine when I get a chance to see what wire is what.
