Brake booster vacuum

Brake booster vacuum source/supply directly from the intake or off the carburetor which is best? Thanks for your input

Manifold vacuum, Either from the intake like GM did most of the time or BELOW the throttle blades. It is a half dozen one way and 6 another as long as it is manifold.
