Wiring Harness for 64 GMC
Recently my Father's GMC has been having electrical issues. Actually it has had issues since day one, but the current issue is that the coil wire is not getting power. I know that I can just run a new power wire to the coil instead of cutting the harness. The issue is that the harness has been modified by previous owners and a 16 year old me. On top of that the original wires are rock hard and I am slightly concerned about a fire hazard. Is there a decent wiring harness that is also affordable? The other option is that I spend some time rewiring the truck to factory.

Re: Wiring Harness for 64 GMC
A few options. Search for a truck with a good original harness. There is a GMC being parted now in the for sale section that you may be able to get something from. Buy a new factory style harness. I have an American Auto wire classic update in my 65 and even though it is a little high it is very well engineered.
