Ridetech Level 1 Air Bags
I'm thinking about installing air ride on my 70 C10, I like the Ridetech Level 1 kit but Porter Built Fab also has a nice kit. I know PBF uses Dominator bags, not sure what Ridetech uses. Looking for opinions from other users?
Thanks. |

Re: Ridetech Level 1 Air Bags
I'm pretty sure the Ridetech kit will have Firestone bags.

What's better Firestone or Dominator?

Re: Ridetech Level 1 Air Bags
I have a full Air Ride, cool ride kit that I will be trying to sell very soon. Only used for mock up... It has the c-notches, strong arm control arms, sway bar kit, trailing arms with crossmember, bags and shocks, two compressors, 5 gallon tank and digital system. Let me know if you are interested.

Re: Ridetech Level 1 Air Bags
I looked heavily at both the Ridetech and Porterbuilt. Both are nice kits but I started out with PB Stage 1 front and Stage 2 basic rear. I think it's the best product for the money. However, the RT Stage 1 setup is a nice turn-key package.

Re: Ridetech Level 1 Air Bags
Screenem, your kit sounds awesome but probably way out of my price range. What kind of a price you thinking?

I like the PB kit but I think the RT RQ shocks are better than what PB offers.

Re: Ridetech Level 1 Air Bags
You can upgrade. PB is a RT dealer. I've got the HQs for my setup.

Re: Ridetech Level 1 Air Bags
Sweet, are you happy with your setup, how is the ride compared to stock? Are you using a air management system?

Re: Ridetech Level 1 Air Bags
Lol. It all looks great sitting on the workbench. My truck is a very slow moving process. I started with a simple setup and blew all that out if the water. I'm more than likely going RIdeTech's air management with level sensors mainly because they are local to me. It's a tough decision as I really like the accuair e-level.
I've ridden in RIdeTech's shop truck and it rides/handles great. I'm anticipating mine to be better than that.
