Any closed cowls

Just wondering if anyone has closed off their cowl, it looks good but does it interfere with the wipers?
Thanks. Photos/how to would be great...looking for someone in the Houston area to do this.

Unless your gonna use a vintage air kit i would keep the cowl open.Your stock heat/ac sucks air from the cowl.

Re: Any closed cowls

Find a local sheetmetal fab shop or good body shop and have them do it. It wont mess with the wipers but not sure about the ac/heat deal.

BBC10 they used a aftermarket heat/ac unit like vintage air,Those kits reuse the air inside the cab where the factory system sucks air from the cowl vent.

Re: Any closed cowls

I am going with the V/A AC unit and am considering capping mine with a piece of sheetmetal . Really no use for it except to collect dirt and debris . I'll make it removable to gain access to the wiper linkage as this is a daily driver .
