76 cab project

I have a 76 cab that I want to start a project with. Plus I can get a 68 long bed frame, so ? is can I put a 76 cab on a 68 frame.

Seems like a rough row to hoe to me. you can't find a 73-80 frame?

Wouldn't 73-87 all work? or is there something different on the frame for the later version?

73-80 has different frame horns than the 81-87,so the bumpers won't interchange
