air ride help
which better buy an air bag kit or piece on together?
then get what from where? i'm in military and don't make a bunch of money any help is appreciated.

definetely piece it together. sooooo much cheaper, and get creative, when you go look for stuff go to truck stops, they have tons of stuff for air ride, remember big trucks use bags also. just make sure everything is DOT approved.

Keep in mind that it's only cheaper if you are capable (and willing) to do some fabrication and know exactly what you need before you start the project. If you want a bolt on stuff that you can install in a weekend, then buy a kit.

i was thinking something like ordering bags, brackets, and air pump. then going down to the local truck stop and see if i could find everything else there.
of course i still need to order sway bars and a longer adjustable panhard rod. money, money, money

You can do it seperatly for a lot cheaper. Just look all over the place for what you need. I was able to get most my fittings and lines from a truck shop. I did have to order the Valves and compressor from online businesses though. AS for bags and brackets I found them for cheap slightly used from a fellow boardmember. Just take your time and get what you want, its a lot nicer in the end.
