I cut it out with a cut off wheel and sanded the edges smooth with a DA sander. You're right, tin snips would probably be hard to use and would likely crack it.[/QUOTE]

I took the trip reset off then cut it out with a band saw, and then sanded the burs off with a piece of 120 grit sand paper. Could do the same think with a jig saw for those of you that don't have a band saw
