Stereo/CD Player
Been looking around a bit to find a radio/cd player for my 1970 C10...what after market players fit the dash...do you have to get one of the retro radios with the hidden cd changer or is there a radio that has a cd player that would work with out altering the dash?...any tips or suggestions would be appreciated...Marla

Re: Stereo/CD Player
There are no radios with CD players that will fit in the original opening.

Re: Stereo/CD Player
Occasionally they'll be some on the parts board. Most likely you'll have to hit some swap meets come spring. Look for the stem type radios, where the controls are. Those are adjustable also.

Re: Stereo/CD Player
There's also a few board members who turn a factory radio into iPod ready

Re: Stereo/CD Player
A lot of people are running custom autosound and others similar with just aux and iPod hook ups. They will fit into uncut dash I believe..

Re: Stereo/CD Player
Yes I finally bit the bullet and bought a Custom Autosound...I listen to CDs and radio so it works for me and I did not have to cut the dash...Marla
