These events still support real cars/trucks built by people like us. Not some overly sponsored high dollar rig. Interestingly enough, I just picked up a 64 nova for dirt cheap that I will be building in to a retro gasser (used loosely). Why? Because I like building different things and can do this with in a reasonable budget. Plus I want to hone my tig skills with the molly front end and cage. These shows really do not provide a true reality. Heck, just like so many other things in the media today.
