Door Poppers

Where are people putting door poppers when you have shaved door handles? I was thinking on the door jam above the bottom hinge but when the door closes it would be arcing into the plunger and I am thinking it would bind. The only place I see is the bottom corner of the door.

I put them in the lower corner of the door sill. See if you need them first. If you used bear claw latches you might not need them. I think I could have gotten away without them but I noticed that after I drilled the holes for them..

Do the bear claws push outwards already when they release? Thanks for the info, "save wherever possible"....

Re: Door Poppers

I'm using bike brake cable and attached it to the door latch and release arm. Then mounted my solenoid to the lower access panel of the door. The nice part is no extra holes in the door and easy access to solenoids. See post #493 & 502 of my build.
