ttt speed shifter conversion input

hello everyone looking for some input on the direction i should go on my truck about a month ago or so i made a post about my shifter linkage being broken after a attempt to steal it went wrong the truck was converted over from the column to the floor from previous owner in the past id say 4 yrs Ive owned this truck Ive been through shifters every year Ive ran Mr gasket and a few others but have not ran a hurst due to price but Im looking to a better shifter or is it a hurst shifter i will need to all the headaches and problems from linkage being sloppy or not wanting to shift at times

If you want to avoid headaches, just put in the factory linkage and cover the hole in the floor.

Any quality shifter, B&M, Hurst, etc should be perfectly fine. They do require adjustment and proper installation. So long as you don't force the cable around a tight bend or run it too close to the headers/exhaust it should work just fine.

I've got a B&M truck mega shifter in my 57 and like it a lot. it's a quality unit.
