1957 NAPCO Promotional Film

I don't know if this has been posted before.
They make a trail up Pikes Peak in a couple pretty sweet trucks

That's a cool promo. It's been shown but cant hurt to see it every few years or so. I believe a member here owned or still owns this truck. It's Omaha Orange

That's a cool video thanks for sharing. The taskforce trucks are my favorite for a reason... Sheer badassness! Mine was a napco at one point in time but most of the napco parts were gone when I acquired it.

Re: 1957 NAPCO Promotional Film

Wait, 57NAPCO actually owns THE truck from the film?? THE very truck?? Or one like it?
Hell, owning one like it is incredibly cool, but owning THE truck?? That's double throw-down cool.

I saw that video a couple years ago for the first time, and it's what made me want an early 4x4. I'm much more familiar with the '60-'66 trucks, and am beginning to work on a business plan for selling parts for them--plus the prices are a lot more affordable. But it's that video that made me really dig the early 4x4s with the pizza-cutter tires.

Re: 1957 NAPCO Promotional Film

I saw that vid awhile back. Always good to see it again. Somehow it always makes me think I was born 10-20 years too late. Love napco trucks. All 4wd. My key year would be a 58 or 59 I think the twin beams look meaner. Lol.

Yes it used to be mine (bought it in Nebraska), owned it for about 10 years or so. Sold it to a NAPCO collector out west. I really loved that truck

All my homework pointed to it being one of the trucks in the promo film.

Re: 1957 NAPCO Promotional Film

I think there were two that went up...identical. I've have to read up or watch the video again to be sure, but that's how I recall it
