late model 16" wheels fit C20?

Anyone know if "modern" (1989-2000?) Chev. 2500 pickup stock steel wheels 16X6.5bolt pattern (8 lug) will fit my 1971 (disc brake) C20? Thanks

Yes those wheels will fit. No problem on my 72 C20 with disk brakes.

Yes they do fit but the offset is a little different on the newer wheels and they are tucked in a little more. Lots of guys use some spacers to make the wheels move outward other it doesn't bother. There is also a guy on E-bay that sell lug nuts with the outside threads to screw the hub caps on and keep the original lug studs. His name is lug nut king.

He mentioned the steel wheels. I have some on mine and they are perfect. The aluminum ones do sit in the wheelwell a touch more, but the steel ones look great.

I know 17" Hummer H2 3/4T wheels fit a C2500, which is about the same question, and clear the factory discs. Backspacing might be different but I couldn't tell. I used spacers in the rear to clear the Dana60 hubs - that's going to be a challenge for any hubcap or cover you choose to run.
