For all you guys with the 67-68 hoods how did they fit when you installed'em. Did all the body lines on the fenders and cowl line up good, and was the hood flush with the cowl. Those pictures really got me thinking I need one

I am having a really hard time getting all of the lines matched up on mine. The curves are different from one side to the other. Mine is a goodmark hood. I also have a goodmark door and fenders and am not happy with the way any of it fits together. The place where I got the parts told me that he would not work with me.

My hood that is pictured a couple of post back lines up pretty well with the cowl and fenders, however the hood itself appears to be cut a little short down one side so I have a larger gap on one corner than the other.....but its hardly noticeable and I have accepted the fact a long time ago that aftermarket parts will never be perfect...........

where to get glass
well guys i have optid to get a full glass cowl hood from unlimited body they sell the reinforced hood for 325.00 plus shipping. Im going to get the 4" cowl but they make them from flat all the way to 9" cowl

larger cowls
I've always liked the larger cowl hoods. I have a 4" on mine, but it's a pin on. When I bought it the hinged ones weighed as much as a factory hood and I couldn't afford the lbs. Now I want to get a hinge type hood. Where did you guys get the larger cowl ones and do you like the quality. I originally got mine a few years back from US Body Source and found the hood to take an enormous amount of work to get it in shape for paint. I had a pro do it for me because I stink at bodywork. I could use some opinions.

Cowl hood
Word of warning DO NOT but a Unlimited hood.I have bought 2 and had a few friends bought some for a early camaro and they are all JUNK.Harwood has some nice hoods ,alittle more but the time you will spend on a unlimited makes it worth the xtra money.I'm fixin to put a 4 1/2" metal cowl scoop on my goodmark 2" cowl in the next month.
