CPP Modular Spindle not fitting lower ball joint
I have a 1971 C20 Long Bed that I am converting to a 6-lug truck and bagging. I have multiple CPP Parts going into this build, and I have the Modular drop spindles. My issue is that the spindles are not fitting the C20 Ball joints that installed into the arms. It is almost like CPP forgot to ream the bottom holes out to the C20 size. Anyone ever heard of this? I called CPP and they confirmed that I ordered the correct spindles...I plan to start a build thread soon.

Re: CPP Modular Spindle not fitting lower ball joint
I don't own cpp spindle. but c10 1/2 and c20 3/4 ton lower arm are not the same.. the c20 hole.bore on the lower arms is a bigger hole for the ball joint.. u can't just switch c20 ball joint and put c10 ball joint in .. to my understanding...

Re: CPP Modular Spindle not fitting lower ball joint
Can't answer your question but I like the 22" transports.
I thought the CPP modulars were C10 only?

Re: CPP Modular Spindle not fitting lower ball joint
The CPP Modulars are C10 spindles that have been modified to accept C20 ball joints. I have even called CPP to confirm this... The ball joints ALMOST fit. I can grab about 4-5 threads, but no where close to being able to insert cotter key.
