Are the 3/4 ton Eaton axles impossible to find parts for?

Looking at a K20 with an Eaton rear axle. I've heard these are difficult/impossible to find parts for, even brake-wise. True? False? Sorta? Input appreciated!

Some parts are not available new, such as ring & pinion gear sets, but brake parts are as mainstream available as they are for any vehicle. There are plenty of used axles to buy from those who replace them ASAP with 14-bolts after listening to the myths. Lots of good used parts out there still.

I would check with:

Randy's Ring and Pinion
Northwest Differential

I just saw a cast-aluminum 1929 Allistair rear end come back from one of those, so they should be able to deal with a 1970 truck they made millions of!
