Th400 to 4l80e shift indicator on dash question?

Starting my Ls swap next week on my 87 R20 Suburban, and trying to get all the little details nailed down before I start.
When going from a TH400 to a 4L80E, if I Swap out my shift indicator on the dash to a newer style indicator with overdrive, will the indicators line up correctly with the new transmission?

It should be no different than a 700r4. There is some adjustment to the indicator. It has a clip that you just slide around the column until it lines up the way you want it.
