87 column in a 63?

I have a chance to purchase a 1987 blazer or C10 column both guys are wanting $100.
I think I remember reading somewhere that a 87 column would pretty much bolt into a 63 C10. FYi- I will be converting to power steering also at the same time.
Can anyone verify that for me?
Thanks in advance for any info!

I just picked up a 1972 Buick Skylark tilt column, do you guys think it'll fit in my 63C 10?
