This is a link to thread a posted earlier. Did you have a problem similar to this before fixing? This might help my cause.

No, my problem was the door dropped down as it came away from the latch plate. The door was not aligned perfectly so I did adjust it in a little at the bottom and out at the top. I will have to go back and move the striker plate in more later, but my weatherstripping is fresh and I need to wait for it to compress some.
