Anybody here have Western HD c-notches?

I ordered and received a Western Chassis HD c-notch kit. It did not come with instructions. I could probably figure it out but I'd feel better if I had them at least as a backup. I left a few emails without response to Western, but to be fair it's only been a few days. I called yesterday and talked to Aaron and he said that these notches come from an outside vendor, which I found strange but that could just mean POL sent them. He said that they should have included the instructions but he would email them to me later that day. Well I didn't receive them so I called again today. Aaron seem disappointed that his people didn't follow through. When he checked he found out the reason they hadn't been sent. It's because they haven't been written yet. Then he assured me they would be written and sent by tomorrow. I've seen these c-notches in their ads for at least a few months so I find it hard to believe I'm the first person to notice or care that there are no instructions. I'm not trying to badmouth Western Chassis. The products looks good. I guess I'll find out how good their customer service is in the next few days.

Has anybody else bought one of these kits or am I the guinea pig?

Did yours come with instructions?

I got a set from POL and there were no directions included either. I bolted the top pieces on first, marked the bottoms where they needed cut, cut the frame with plasma and bolted on the bottoms.

Western Chassis, actually POL, sent me instructions this afternoon. Fairly un-detailed instructions.

Hey Mike, did you have to remove any rivets from the frame on your install?

Yes. There were rivets that needed to be removed. At this point I can't remember how many and where. If you sit the pieces on it is clear which ones need to go.

Good luck

FYI this kit is only 3/16" steel, not sure how that compares in strength to typical 1/4" notch kits?
