are these BB frame stands or??

Hi, I picked up these frame stands that are supposedly big block 67-72. From what I can see they look to match small block mounts in another thread. Can anybody tell me for sure what these are? Thanks

Re: are these BB frame stands or??

68-71 bb frame mounts look kinda like the sbc ones but the center bolt hole is huge compared to the little hole in the middle of the sbc ones

Re: are these BB frame stands or??

Did you buy these 2 sets of mounts off Craigslist by chance or purchase them recently?

Re: are these BB frame stands or??

Just picked them up from a guy on another Chevy truck group. It was honest mistake . he pulled the inline 6 ones from a truck with a 350 and the small block ones from a truck with a 396. He made it right with me so no harm. Was a good guy to deal with

Re: are these BB frame stands or??

I'm 95% sure that I bought those from him a month or so back and ended up shipping them back after a PayPal claim was filled. He assured me they were big block and sent them to me only to find out they were not and was very reluctant to refund me and was still trying to say that they were big block even thought I pictured them with small block mounts when trying to explain to him that they where not. Sounds like he still didn't believe me. Oh well! Glad to hear he made it right this time

Re: are these BB frame stands or??

Could be. He tried explaining to me what rubbers I needed to go with these ect and posted in the group to ask the guys opinion. I got a refund before I even sent them back. I take partial responsibility that I didn't research it better before buying.

Are you needing a set of big block stands? I always have a couple of sets lying around. Thanks, Fred.

Re: are these BB frame stands or??

i was allmost touching the rear of the mount with the header. these are repop parts
so i cleaned up and smoothed out the edges of my bbc mounts.
i had 2 guys see my mounts one said howed you get 6 cly mounts to work with a bbc.
an another tried telling me that they were not bbc mounts.

heres the pick with one done before paint

mounts can be tricky to identify if your not well seasoned an dont have others to compare too.
