Replace Dash 93 ??????

My dash in my 93 Indy Pace truck is badly cracked and I found one in a local junk yard .What is a fair price for a nice one ,he is asking $250 for it which sounds high ,what do you all think its worth? How hard to change one out ?

I watched a you tube video to find out how to remove one from a '94. I paid $100 and removed it myself and it was cracked under the pass side front speaker. Could not see it until I removed the speaker grille. I am going to epoxy it on the back side where it won't be seen.

I replaced mine with one i found at a junk yard. They charged me $130. And they removed it.

Removing and relacing is not that difficult or time consumig at all. Just be careful not to crack the replacement dash while installing it, since im sure its going to be brittle. Good luck!

If you've got an LKQ pick your part junkyard close by and a little bit of patience you could pick one up for a pretty good deal on one of their 40% off weekends. Usually major holidays like New Years, Memorial Day, July 4th etc.

Looks like a complete dash is around $100 on a regular price day. If you need just a shell its $50.

I'm going to be looking for a shell myself for the truck I just picked up today. Looks like these things are just as brittle as the dodge trucks of the same era.
