Backup light woes>:[

Hey guys and gals i seem to be pulling my hair outta my head trying to figure out why i have no power to my reverse lights. They worked before but my harness was pretty fried so i had a v8 harness for the engine and for the inside harness was from a four speed 292 c30 . Both were 67s and i have confirmed that i dont have a break in the wire from the cab to the rear. I understand that on a four speed truck the switch was on the tranny but im trying to figure out what gives the lime green wire power so i can splice my b&m switch into it. Heres the fuse box and excuse the ghost that had to photobomb my picture. Thanks in advance everyone.

Thumbs up Re: Backup light woes>:[

If the B&M shifter has the switch just hook into a 12 volt hot when truck is running. The switch in the shifter will keep it off until the truck is running and in reverse.

It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Thats what i was kind of thinking. I just didnt know why there isnt any power coming from the wire in the fusebox. I would think it would always be hot coming from the fuse panel

Question Re: Backup light woes>:[

Have you checked it with a test light are v meter? Turn key on and check it. It shouldn't have power unless the key is on.
