Talking Got another 1,Major score

I just paid $300 for a 72 cheyenne super 10,it runs and drives, has a perfect grille, well I guess the hole frontend looked good, both doors have some rust on the bottoms and 1 cab corner needs replaced, the bed is not the best but it will do for now.
Somebody tookout the headliner but it still has the trim left on.Of course it has power steering and power brakes, still has the original 350 engine.
No carpet, but that is OK I got to see the floor and I did not see any rust on the floor .

I will post some pics as soon as I can.

I can't wait to get this one fixed up,I will have to sell the longstepside so I can get some new stuff.

I see $300 trucks from time to time here

Maybe it is just because I'm in Utah. I've already come across 2 trucks, both for $300. FIrst one was over the summer. '71 no engine or tranny. Straight bed, of course discs, decent wheels and tires, minimal rust; found it in St. George. I had the money, but my parents were in the process of moving and I really didn't have a place to put it.

Second was on Ebay, it was going for $330, located in Orem, UT. Well Orem is just down the interstate from me. It was at a used car lot. 71 or 72 I don't remember, 350 engine (with what they thought of a blown head gasket), had fairly new edelbrock carb. it was ugly as sin, but I wanted the brakes. Well, my excuse this time was I didn't have the money, but I do have a place to put one

Not in Washougal anymore, just moved to camas last month. I'am on everett road, past the lake store a few houses on the left side.

I got the truck home today, stopped and got gas and then it would not start, the battery cables were very loose, got them tight, got a jump and made it home with no problems.
I need to get a few things before I can drive it daily.
Needs a headlight bezel, needs passenger side door latch, needs drivers side door handle, and get the turn signals working and probably need alot more stuff when I find more problems.

I did notice the truck bed was not the original ,the paint is not exactly the same color, and the bed has molding on the side and the cab and fenders do not. I will have to get a new bed ,the 1 that is on it has alot of damage and the wood floor is rotted out but that can wait,I'am just happy that I got it

Talking pics

Here it is .

First thing to do will be to get some tires, the ones on it are bad, well atleast 2 are,and I have some nice wheels that were given to me by a guy that got some new wheels for his ride .

Then the bed will have to go,It's is banged up real good and the wood bed is shot and so is the tailgate.

Smile 1 more pic

Grille pic.Grille needs cleaned it is very dirty,I bought a brush to clean the grille yesterday but for some reason I can't find it,the cashier probably didn't put it in the bag,I replaced the turn signal assembly and replaced all of the light bulbs front and rear so that alll the turn signals work now.
Need to get a new air filter and get the door latchs fixed.

Also took out the CB today.
