Re: Drop Spindles or Dropped Lower Control Arms

I did,

2.5 Western Chassis spindles, clears 15x8 rally wheels
Western Chassis rear drop hanger kit.
Stock shocks.

Unless you are slamming the truck you can skip the drop shocks. I paid $150 for the drop hanger kit and $250 for the spindles.

Does anyone have a photo of a installed Flip Kit? To see what it looks like under the truck.

2.5-3" front drop with a flip kit in rear will look ghetto as hell in my opinion. Level or front down is the stance to go for.

Re: Drop Spindles or Dropped Lower Control Arms

I think I going to go 4.5/6..... Father / Son projects are fun with (2) guys with Type A personalities. My Father being a retired military officer, is used to command. He only wants to go 2.5/4 but, since I am spending my own cash.....I am going low. I would be made looking at a truck that could go lower. There may be some sort feelings /words exchanged but , I have much love and respect for the man. He showed me what it means to be a man and take care of your family!!!!

Re: Drop Spindles or Dropped Lower Control Arms

Went with Western Chassis components (spindles, flip kit, Bell Tech shocks). Looking to go 3/5 right now to see how it sets. Cut 1/2 coil off to give me another 1". Thanks for all of the input guys. Just ordered all the goodies from Kris @ The Suspension Source , this morning. I bought my last set of Bell Tech shocks from her and decided to give her some more business. One step closer...........

I'm not sure which truck you are referring to. I have a bagged 77 and a static dropped 84 Sierra.

FYI- This pic is not mine, and i think its actually an 88-98 OBS truck, but it gives a visual to answer the question
