I think the sensor is a TS6 which I believe is for a gauge.

I did the pan and multimeter test..
The signal goes from open circuit to about 200 ohms as it warms up, then gradually drops fairly linearly, to 82 ohms when it doesn't go any further. I guess if it was under pressure the temp would go further and ohms would drop more.

Then connected it back on truck to the gauge and with an earth, and the gauge didn't move in hot water or even with a bit of blow torch heat!

I am now thinking the gauge is faulty..it didn't work with the original sender.
It does go right across with a short but still i think it isn't working correctly.
