another question vettvet, on your schematic if I understand right the line you have highlighted orange comes from the fuse box to the high speed fan relay, so if I check it at the relay the orange wire should be hot. I have a wire disconnected by the fuse block that was like that when I got the truck( the ac also was not complete or working) that is orange. if it is not then probably the orange cut wire needs to be attached to the fuse block somewhere
