Re: 406 powered S-10
One thing that was odd was that the Hedman conversion headers had the exhaust flanges welded on upside-down. I didn't notice it until I went to try and thread the OEM temp sensor into the cylinder head and the edge of the header flange wouldn't allow for it. So I relocated the sensor to the intake. The 2 electric fan temp switches are mounted in the aluminum t-stat housing.

Closeup of the charging system harness and the low/high temp trigger leads for the dual speed/dual fan assembly I'm adding.

More pics....AC delete panel is used on this truck but I'm still retaining the original AC harness. PO hacked it all stupid so I put it back correctly and mounted an AC blower resistor. Other pics show the electric fan temp switches, and I added a couple extra IGN hot leads from the modified factory fuseblock bulkhead connector so I can add a simple plug in for the electric fan relay bank IGN on trigger.

Re: 406 powered S-10
Working on adding the dual fans....its easy to get sidetracked! Lol I'm using a GM style serpentine bracket setup w/long style water pump and the water pump snout-electric fan clearance is a tad close on clearance. So, I'm carefully notching the core support to give my another 1/4" so I can have at least 1/2" of clearance. There isn't much to this core support up top so after the radiator install I'll be making an "X" brace to strengthen it back up.

Re: 406 powered S-10
Well, tonight I tinkered with the S-10 for a bit. I had to remove the dash to access a center firewall grommet so that I could extend my ignition control harness like factory instead of drilling an extra hole. Then, I figured I might as well change the heater core-then the snowball started.....I noticed the ductwork seals were shot so I started making new foam seals-then while taking the ducting all apart, I seen the upper/lower dash blend door linkage was broken;this is awesome since finding a replacement will require completely dismantling another trucks' dash!

Re: 406 powered S-10
Factory style harness with aftermarket integrations, pics show the close but manageable space between the Chrysler dual fans and the GM style serpentine setup. I also opted for the Goodyear severe duty heater hoses. Tonight I built a pair of 3/8" radiator cross braces since notching the core support for the larger radiator made it slightly flimsy vs stock.
