Can anyone tell me if this is an original GM air tank?
Someone is using this as a vacuum reservoir for brake vacuum, but I'm trying to find an original accessory air tank and am wondering if this could be one.
The 'cartoon' is from the old catalog, the picture is what the guy has on hand. Anyone know if it's what I need (the air tank for air accessories)? He says its made from aluminum though.

I believe the one you have pictured is an aftermarket vacuum reservoir. Is it plastic or metal?

Looks exactly like the Moroso vacuum reservoir I have bolted to my firewall.
