68 gmc k25

I am looking to lift my 68 K25. What is the difference between the 67-68 and the 69-72? The best I can tell it's the rear spring length on the 68 is 57.5" and the later models have shorter springs. The front springs are 44" which seems to be common.

Re: 68 gmc k25

Naive question - what's a K25? Heavy 3/4 ton Chevy 4WD between the K20 and K30? Or a K2500 GMC?

Re: 68 gmc k25

i don't know of any suspension company making lifts for the 67-68 trucks. you'll probably have to have a spring company fabricate a new set of leaf springs in the amount of lift you are looking for.

What year did they swtich from K15,25,35 to K1500,2500,3500?

Or were the Ks always numbered differently from the Cs?

Mine's a C2500, just trying to learn my models, and never had a K.

I have a set of rear springs from a '63 K20 under my '72 K20...

And if there never was a K15/K25/K35 this sounds like the most passive aggressive post in history, but I'm from where the GMCs are 910/920/930 so it's not a rhetorical question...
