Smile My new square body

hello, all. Got an 86 scottsdale recently with the 4.3 and a833 trans.Must have been special ordered as its got pw,no pdl, cruise control, dual tanks, some
kinda extra power brakes.brakes are rather touchy if you know what Im saying
as they will lock up fast.Long bed. So Im over 6 ft tall and wished it had a tilt column.Does any tilt column 73-87 fit? I realize finding one for the manual trans will be hard to find, just wanting to know what fits. I also have a 67 stepside. There is a thread about shortening the column, moving the steering wheel toward the dash. Could this be done on my 86? Id rather have a tilt. Thanks for any advice.

Re: My new square body

You will need a 1984 and newer column. The 73-83 had the headlight dimmer in the floor. Good luck finding a floor shift tilt column. They are like gold!
