71 suburban info

Hi all,

Looking for solid info, or good links, to get educated on potential 71 suburban project....I was told they made only a very few 3 doors for this year....from what I can tell, that is the only version they made!!...can someone clear this up for me, and production qty. for a 71 c20 350 auto 4wd? What would a fair price for something like this be...rig is in fair shape with minor dings / rust...currently a daily driver...

thanks in advance

They are all three doors. As for price, I just picked one up for $1000. But its a 1/2 ton not 3/4 ton and 2wd not 4wd. Not sure about production #'s.

Welcome to the board from Central ohio.
Yes, all burbs made from 67 - 72 were 3 door. many ppl are unaware of this since every burb built since 73 were 4 door models. FYI, before 67, they were just 2 door.
You didn't mention is you had a lift gate, or barn doors on your burb.
There were 256 3/4 ton burbs with barn doors, and 353 with lift gate, so yes, your rig is in fact a low production vehicle.
Would you have pics of this truck by chance?
