stupid question im sure but i still have to ask
so ever since ive owned my 65 c10 the blinkers ... have never made that ticking sound . so im curious why that is ? and what i have to do to make them do that ? im sure most of you would welcome it not ticking . but to me without it , it just dont feel right all blinkers work and brake lights just so you know

Maybe someone installed a quiet, electronic flasher.
IF THATS THE CASE, You can just unplug that one, and install standard one. However, you running LED's at all ??

not yet but i but some i just dont have the parking light ones yet so i haven't put them on until i get those too and do all 4 ... hmmmm i never knew they made silent ones it is a aluminum can so i thought it was a standard one

If it's an aluminum can chances are it isn't electronic. The easiest way I know how to test this is unplug a light and see if the blinker flashes like crazy. If it does, it isn't. All the E flashers I have seen are a smoked clear plastic.
There are quiet, standard and extra loud flashers that are the standard electro mechanical. |
