Cheyenne, Cheyenne Super, Sierra, Sierra Grande, CST came with the wood grain tailgate band which deleted the trim along the bottom of the gate commonly found on custom deluxe and other models.

If you come across a tailgate that has both the wood grain band and trim along the bottom, it was put together incorrectly. One or the other but not both.

I have seen a few CST blazers over the years with the upper, woodgrain band and lower trim on them.

I agree on the Blazers, I had a CST that had all of the trim..

And my '71 2wd CST blazer does not have the trim below the woodgrain panel. Weird.

Maybe someone modified mine, it had been painted a couple times.
