I was wondering what anyone would suggest on what frame to change my 1962 Gmc stepside to?

You should ask this in the 60-66 message board you will probably get a better response. I know there are other threads on this question. Try and doing a smart search. With that all being said. If the reason you want to do a frame swap will determine what frame you want to use and keep in mind that by doing a frame swap you might run in to trouble with the law if you vin numbers do not match. It might be better to just change the part of the frame that you are having a problem with.

A '60-'62 frame is the one frame that I would consider changing. The frame I would use is a '63-'66. A '67-'72 frame can also work, but a few changes need to be made to accomodate a '60-'66 body and bumper. Regardless of which frame you go with be sure to make it legal with the necessary paperwork required in your county/state.
