Front windshield- No shade no antenna

My 74 came from the factory with No shade(sun shade) whatever you wanta call it. It also came with No antenna.

I need to replace it with the exact wind

LMC and Brother shows them

I called brothers and talked with them. They have one with a green tint.

Has anyone used the exact one? I don't want to buy it a have it wrong and then have to ship the stupid thing back. Thanks

I recently noticed that Pilkington offers glass for "classics" including original markings and everything. LINK

If you don't care about the original markings then any local automotive glass supplier should be able to hook you up. I recently bought a tinted and shaded one without the antenna. He brought an antenna windshield out of the stock room then he went back and brought out the correct one. You may even pay more for shipping than the windshield costs. I usually pay around $80 not installed.

All the auto glass places around me sell the windshields but they all come with shaded tops. I cant find one without the shaded tops other then LMC or Brothers

If you still have your original glass take a white sheet of paper and place it behind the glass so when you look thru the windshield the paper is on the back side. The color of the glass will then be shown, it will either be clear, or have a green tint to it. Now since it is original it may be faded some, but should still see some color if it was green tint.

So it turned out the the guy at brothers was looking at the wrong windshield. They do not carry a completely clear windshield like he told me. He did help me a lot though this search and I do always appreciate good customer service so thumbs up to brothers truck parts.

I called LMC and the woman says that the glass they have is completely clear without the antenna. I ordered it so we will see................... I'm glad the insurance is paying for all of this
