35" tires

Im in the market for some new 35" tires for my K20

I want some good 50,000 mile plus All terrain rather than softer rubber mud bogger heavy lug tires

Ive been running BFG KOs .

I need to get different 10"wide rims either 16" or 17" since I have 16.5s and no one makes those tires any more

I was looking at the Cooper A/T3s ... 315/75/16s

What others are Best tires?

BFG isn't making 16.5's now? Last time I heard that they were still making them. It looks like they are still listed at BFG.

Re: 35" tires

I plan on running bfg's in that size, or 33'a depending on situation with my springs.

Re: 35" tires

I've been happy with my Coopers. I run them on everything. the AT3 doesn't look nearly as aggressive as the BFG although they do very well in the snow and mild off roading. It really depends on how you use your truck. If you are primarily on road then the AT3 would be a good choice. If you get off road a fair amount you may want to look at some thing a little more aggressive, maybe the Cooper ST. My dad has run through a couple sets of those and has been happy with them. I am running the STT on the Jeep and they are great, but may be more aggressive than you would want for a primarily street vehicle.

Nope. Discontinued. Call them and ask 1-877-788-8899

Either Yokohamas or Toyos were supposed to be good..?

Beats me

I am only speaking from experience on the tires I have run, I am not a Cooper expert per say. It could be something the do just for America's Tire...whatever that is. I know goodyear sells tires at Walmart and Sams club that have a different name but are the same tire as some of their standard tires. Could be something like that.

Re: 35" tires

Your right, I called Cooper. The ATP is made for America's Tire/Discount Tire, Its supposed to be like the AT/3 but little different tread design

Re: 35" tires

I thought the cooper ATPs were just the older version the the AT3s

I really like the AT3s. They are my favorite "all around tire" mud snow on road driving etc.

The thing I like most about them is that they are fairly quiet on road for a tire that is more off road based. You don't have that "drone" that some of the others have.

I understand they last longer than the BFGs

Re: 35" tires

I'm running Cooper ATP on my '07 Duramax and they wear like iron. If my closest Discount Tire wasn't an hour away, I'd consider another pair.
