Do 8 lug rally wheels exist anymore?

Looking for some 8 lug rally wheels with 8"-10" width for my 71 2wd LWB but have been unable to find any.

The 90's GM 8-lugs work as they have trim rings & caps. About as close a rally as you can get for a 3/4T. Don't have a pic with caps on tho.

Re: Do 8 lug rally wheels exist anymore?

I've never known of 8-lug ralleys. Not even aftermarket. GM only put rallyes on 1/2t light trucks and vans (except G20s, which they call 3/4t but only has 5-lugs). The styled steel wheels that came on all 8-lug 88-98 single rear trucks have a similar look when beauty rings and chrome center caps are used with the original argent paint color. Those only have four vent slots, same as the conventional steelies did. Are those what you are talking about? Are these getting hard to find now?

Here's mine with caps-sorry about the rainy day. I used dually caps on back to clear 3/4 ton hubs.

Hummer H2 wheels fit and are reasonably popular and obtainable.

Re: Do 8 lug rally wheels exist anymore?

Maybe I just assumed the 4wd locking hub wheels were 8 lug. I'm wanting a classic look with some width. Any suggestions?

Re: Do 8 lug rally wheels exist anymore?

8 lug? Wide Wheels? Classic Look? Clears locking hubs?

You're not even that far away!

EDIT: Wasn't done yet and my internet crashed!! Living in the country isn't all dandelions and fresh milk... Anyway, factory only had 16" and, more commonly on these era trucks, 16.5" 8 lug steel wheels. 16.5" wheels had 8.25 and 9.75 widths (the latter harder to find). The 16s (much more plentiful on later year trucks) are a favorite due to greater tire selection, but 16.5 choices are available also. Nothing beats a bright white steelie imho.

Re: Do 8 lug rally wheels exist anymore?

Not sure on how wide these rims are but dodge made a wheel that looks like a mixture of a gm rally.

I kinda like them. But I'm undecided as I have 3 steelies and 3 of these. 8 lug Steelies are plentiful in yards here but not wide ones.

Re: Do 8 lug rally wheels exist anymore?

For a slightly wider look you could use late Econoline wheels that are 7" SAE with no nubs and 88-up GM center caps. But that is only slightly wider. For a wider wheel for a rallye wheel look I'd buy 8" or 10" D-hole 16s, paint them argent (rallye wheel color), 9/16" duplex lug nuts, and 88-98 rings and caps. I did black on black on my '91 Suburban. I considered 8" in argent with stock centers and caps on the '92 K3500 I had. I think this will give the closest to "looks GM" that you can get in 8-lug. You could do the same with round hole or other steel wheels, but none close to factory look

I was looking for the same thing. Ended up widening a set of 90´s steel wheels. Can´t remember now the exact dimensions but I think it was 9-9.5 rear and 8-8.5 front.
I first tried a darker shade gray but ended up with colour matched. I somehow regret I didn't go with argent silver, maybe that would have looked better.
