Pictures of progress

All dents, rust, etc. removed. Welded up the joints at the windshield opening, the drip rail and the door jambs. Now its nice and smooth. The green color is epoxy primer and the off-white is BASF DP20 primer. Once I block it all down with 180 then its 320 block time. Reiprime if necessary then wet sand with 600 and shoot it BC/CC.

I don't like the condition of the bed I have (short wide fleet) so I am still looking around for one in better shape. The color is going to be Sunset Orange Pearl; a 2004 Honda Element color

Copperhead, a House of Kolors shade, is what I thought I wanted until I started looking at other stuff on the road. There are several vehicles with similar colors, like the 2004 Avalanche, the 2004 Z3 BMW plus I think Ford has a similar color. Not that I am a Ford fan, I just happen to own one. I know this hurts on a Chevy site.... sorry, but I also own a Blazer........ I plan on painting the fenders a couple of different colors before I decide n the final formula.

Yeah, I'm a Longhorn fan even though I'm not originally from Austin or even Texas for that matter. Hook 'em Horns.

The third brake/cargo light light is off a 1994 Chevy truck. I had to weld up the original hole and then make cut outs to fit the 94 light assembly.
