The tear down pics made me smile. Remembering when I started to tear down my truck.

Love those wheels.
Thanks guys! Tear down one always one of my favorite parts. I've always loved cragars. My grandpa still has a set laying around from back in the day but unfortunately his are 15's

Re: SLAB Cycles '65

Managed to get the rearend back together today and reinstalled. Also got a chance to install the hotchkis rear springs and Wilwood rear brakes. Had to mock up the rear rims just too see. I'm dying to get some rubber on them and set the truck back on the ground

Thanks everyone! I still have a long ways to go before I get her back on the street but I'm hoping I can knock it out in the next couple weeks.

Re: SLAB Cycles '65

I managed to removed all the old ball joints, install the new ones, install my new CPP spindles, the Hotchkis front springs, and the front brakes today. I still need to run all new brake lines and my e brake cables but she's coming along

The old school styling of the Cragar's are cool for sure.

Re: SLAB Cycles '65

just a heads up. I always hoped that my son would get the bug... He did but everything that he has is all turbo charged. He got the need for speed. I like the looks more than the performance. Anyway... Nice work and a real Nice Truck. Ray
