70 K10\20\30 frankenstein Longbed to shortbed build
So after many months of searching for a shortbed 4x4 frame I gave up hope and decided to shorten a long bed 1 ton frame I picked up along the way. First off I have absolutely zero experience shortening a frame but I said screw it I'm going for it. So I did about two hours of research on Google and youtube found some good info. Once I got my measurements laid out on the frame I re measured about fifty more times and went to cutting. I'm am by no means a professional welder/fabricator but I think it came out pretty damn good for a first timer. Now that I have the short bed I wanted its time to figure out motor mounts for the 454 and get this thing together

Looks great, better then some pro jobs, I can see the love a dedication. Sometimes that will beat a paid pro every time!
