88 did nothing.

75 contemplated what to do. Decided to buy a used HEI distributor from Randy even though I will be TBIing that truck soon. That will get it on the road at least. Was nice weather over the weekend and would have been fun to drop the top.

Honda Puked water pump so changed that and oil. $25 for a pump. THought it was going to be an absolute pain in the butt job but wasn't really that bad.

Poncho...... looked around to see what running engines were around. Just missed a mildly built 454 with low miles and $800. Guy is hurting for cash but somebody beat me to it.

I did the "Brighter Dash Mod" and lubed my sqeaky speedometer cable.

I couldn't resist, so I ripped the entire dash apart.

Of course, I lost a small piece (clip on back of a gauge) and so now it sits in pieces, until I can find another clip.

took the weekend off. Took the wife to Little Rock to the George Strait concert. I did get back early enough on Sunday to pick up a disc brake front end for my 68.

I took the intake off of the new Blazer engine and re-installed it right this time -- no more vacuum leaks.

Replaced my belts, modified and installed my AC bracket a year after I put my headers on, replaced the bearing in my alternator, and fixed the leak in my radiator.

Hey Mike, I never knew you were a carpenter. That's what I'm going to college for right now. Up here houses are going up like crazing and the boom is expected to last for ten more years.

You can go to college to learn Carpentry? This is a new one on me. I went to college the hard way then. Straight from high school to driving nails. I wouldn't take anything for the knowledge I have, but I wouldn't give a nickel for it if I had to do it all over again. I've been a Carpenter for over 30 years. Totally burned out on it. I started a new job today. Still using power tools like table saws and such but a lot different from anything I've ever done before. It's tough to start a new job at 49.

Friday night--Helped with my dad at a local home show.

Saturday-- Helped Uncle paint the '69 in sig below and also helped at the home show again.

Sunday--Helped at home show again.

Monday--New front brake pads on '89 and finished painting the '69 still have to wet sand the whole thing.

The color of the '69 is the yellow that comes on the new SSR, pics should be up soon.

Also, if anyone is interested in my dad's business this is his website here. It is mostly garage organization and a flooring system if anyone would be interested please PM me.
