85 k10 restore
Here is a photo of my truck when I 1st purchased it about 16 months ago. It looks good in the pics but if I just kept it as is. Living in Michigan and the weather we get, it would have deteriorated quickly! So I decided to eliminate the chance of rust re surfacing and get it into the body shop for a FULL restore! The previous owner did some hack body work and cheap backyard paint job. Luckily being in the trades I bartered with the Body Shop and swapped labor for the paint job. They would be removing every panel and the bed, doors etc. to do an A1 job. stripping every ounce of paint. New rockers and doors.

Here it is just after being primed and guide coated:
They let me begin blocking it here is what I was able to accomplish: The cowl hood getting prepped for Primer: Now they let me shoot the primer to the hood! Paint should be going on next week! |
