Re: steering column issue

OK... So heres what i found...

pulled transmision to change the flexplate because it was hamerd by the starter grinding into it. the starter was jacked by this as well so changed it.

I installed a new ididit tilt steering column.

the company that i got the other tilt wouldnt accept it as a return or defective so it in the garbage can

this tilt column that i origanalily installed was wiried wrong inside. the purple and the backup light circuts were shorted and or switched inside the column, when shifter moved from park through reverse they all intermintently have power.

so... if you buy a column thats been made from a chevy van column, be sure to inspect it really well or youl may sufer the same fate as me...
