Will leaf spring load rating affect ride height?

Looking to replace the stock old rusty leaf springs on my 87 2wd Suburban.
My question: would a pair of springs rated at 3500lbs each make the rear sit higher than say a pair rated at 2500lbs?

Most likely any new leaf springs you put will raise it up

If it has the factory springs on it they have sagged over time.New oem springs will give you a little lift. The heavier springs will give you lift but can cause a stiffer ride tho.
